Mike started showing in obedience in 1970
with a rough Collie that finished a UD. Mike has shown Golden Retrievers
to an OTCH, a UDX, 2 UDs and a CDX. He also had fun showing a Border
Collie that earned a CDX and was lucky enough to earn a perfect score
along the way. Mike has been an obedience judge since 1995. He enjoys
seeing the perspective of competitive obedience from both sides of the
clipboard and continues to actively compete with his dogs. The sport has
given him special memories and special friends which he shares with his
wife Yvonne and his sister Sandy, who are both actively involved in the
sport, and his mother who is always there for constant support, win or
loose. Judging specialties is always a great time and Mike wishes
everyone good luck.
