RAFFLE/AUCTION RULES AND REGULATIONS

Chair, Megan Harrison
Red Raffle Tickets arriving with the Premium List:
Entries may be made through the regular mail by writing your name, address, phone, number and email address on the red ticket stub, enclosing the proper remittance and sending to designated Chair and date (see current Specialty's Raffle page). Entries received after date specified will be returned unopened. If you receive tickets with the Premium List, but don't plan to enter the raffle, simply dispose of the tickets. Raffle participation is not mandatory.

Entries may be made in person at the National Specialty by writing your name, address, phone number and e-mail address on the ticket stub and attaching the proper remittance. A drop-off spot will be announced.

The MAIN RAFFLE (red ticket raffle) ITEM(S) WILL BE ANNOUNCED FOR EACH SPECIALTY .

If the first ticket drawn belongs to someone present at the banquet, they have their choice of either the FIRST OR SECOND ITEM (if offered). The second ticket drawn will get the (first if first ticket is not present) second choice.

If the first winning ticket or the second winning ticket holders are not present, they will be notified by mail and will have 30 days from the date of notification by registered mail to claim their raffle prize. The item will be shipped (if necessary and only if the winner is not present) at BCSA's expense (if within the U.S.) within 15 days of the "claim".

No substitution of winning is permitted except as may be necessary due to circumstances beyond the control of BCSA National Specialty Committee, in which case an item of equal of greater value will be awarded. Winnings are non-transferable or redeemable for cash.

Acceptance of winnings constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winners' name for purposes of advertising and publicity without additional compensation.

If no winners claim their prize within the time allotted, at the discretion and direction of the National Specialty Committee, another ticket will be drawn and the notification process will be repeated until both prizes are claimed.

Not Available By Mail
In the "on site" general raffle (a blue ticket raffle) tickets will be offered that must be placed in the bag next to the item(s) you have selected. You (or your ticket stub) must be present at the drawing during the BCSA banquet to claim your prize. No blue ticket raffle items will be held or shipped.

Not Available By Mail
The SILENT auction will also be held "on site" at the National Specialty. Silent Auction items will consist of high quality unusual and unique items that club members have gathered especially for this auction. There will be a "bidder's list" alongside each item with space for bidder's name and bid price. There may or may not be a minimum bid required. High bid winners will be announced at the BC Social. SILENT auction winners must claim their items and make remittance at the Social.

If the high bid winner is not present at the Social, the next highest bidder will be announced.

BCSA National Specialty Committee is not responsible for telephone, electronic or computer failure of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, lost, late, damaged, ineligible or have postage due. All entries become the property of BCSA and will not be acknowledged or returned, except in the case of late arrivals when sent to the Post Office Box in Wellington, CO.

Raffle entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official Rules and Regulations.
