This event is open to AKC registered Border Collies.
Preference will be given to BCSA members. Non-member entries will be put on a
waiting list. Available runs will be assigned in the order entries were
received.

Judge: Judith Kelly

Course description: 4 head of sheep per run; outruns
will be similar in length to AKC distances for this site at the AKC National
Specialty Herding Trial. The pen will be enclosed with white plastic
lattice. There is no hold for the started or intermediate classes.

Started: Outrun, fetch through fetch panels, wear
through both drive panels, and pen. There is no handler restriction after
fetch is completed. 90 points

Intermediate: Outrun, fetch through fetch panels,
drive first set of panels, fetch back through fetch panels (pull through),
and pen. 90 points

Advanced: Outrun, fetch through fetch panels, full
drive, pen, and shed any single. 100 points

Dogs may enter at any level and must have either an
AKC Course A or B title. If more than 60 days have passed since a dog earned
the corresponding AKC Course B title, it must run at a higher level.
The AKC 50% rule on scoring will not apply.

Payback to First through Fourth in each class. The
amount will be determined by class size. A special prize will be awarded to
the highest scoring BCSA member in each level.
