When I’m not working for BCSA you will find me enjoying time with my own dogs. I strive to make training a positive experience and to have fun with my dogs regardless of the venue. Outside of Border Collies, I work full time as a Veterinary Technician. My primary interests are behavior, canine structure, movement and animal dentistry. I share my home with my husband Karl, stepsons Derek and Mason, our son Blake, 3 cats, 2 parakeets, some fish and our beloved Border Collies. I have focused my personal contributions to BCSA on two primary areas of interest; increasing club revenue and increasing membership. Both of these focal points enable us to truly work for the Border Collie and preserve the working heritage of this unique breed. I’m very excited about the NEW Border Recorder. This will serve as a historical record for BCSA but I also hope continued editions will pave the financial path for a Border Collie Illustrated Breed Standard. This would be a large asset for our Judges Education Department and a wealth of knowledge for new breed fanciers. The education of our Judges shapes the future of our breed as they select tomorrows CHs and we in turn select from those genetics to carry on with this fabulous breed.
