BCSA Board of Directors
Ann Shaw, Treasurer

Return to Board page

It is an honor to have been asked to be the BCSA Treasurer for a second term.

I got my first BC when my daughter left for college in the late 80's and I had an empty nest. I had no "reputable breeder" knowledge, but was lucky to get the best BC in the world. Tess introduced me to the dog community. We were on the Pedigree Flyball Team, competed in a Gaines Regional and Classic, met many wonderful people and trialed through our UDX and almost to an OTCh before she was no longer able to compete. I currently have two BCs, Trace, who is my best bud and Tux (not pictured).

I no longer show because of an illness, but stay involved in the dog community by volunteering and working for several dog organizations. They include BCSA (web site), Due South Obedience Association (Treasurer since 1996), Sirius Dog Agility (Business Manager), Dogs Only Training Center (web site) and Atlanta's Dogwood Obedience Group (Business Manager/web site) plus a few more.

My other interests include spending time with my grandkids, paling around with my mother who is in her 80's, needlework and being outside (weather permitting).
