I have been very active with many aspects of BCSA from chairing committees to bringing tracking to the specialty to chairing or co-chairing the national specialty three times as well as serving as vice president and most recently as president on the Board of Directors. I am most passionate about the health and welfare of our wonderful breed. To that end, I am working on meeting the requirements to judge Border Collies in conformation and also to judge junior showmanship, rally and tracking. In my life outside of dogs, I work full time as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. In life outside of BCSA, I am a member of my local obedience, tracking and conformation clubs. I am also a founding member of an all-breed herding club and we hold a trial for the club at my home each fall. I have enjoyed my time on the board and look forward to moving into the role of past president where I will once again have a vote in matters. I hope to help to continue to guide the BCSA in a positive direction where we are constantly striving to improve the health, welfare and well-being of our wonderful breed. Page Updated 07.14.2010 |
