BCSA Board of Directors
Carol Clark, AKC Delegate

Return to Board page

I was appointed by the Board to complete Claudia Frank’s term as delegate. I have enjoyed the position very much and would like to continue as your delegate.

I have been owned by Border Collies since 1986, and have been involved with obedience, agility, flyball, herding, tracking, and now conformation with my last two dogs. I have loved the breed since the first dog, and will always have a BC. My other breed is Siberians and the two breeds mesh very nicely-both being independent thinkers.

I am a tracking judge, at all three levels and was on the last AKC tracking advisory committee. I feel I have an advantage being connected through the Performance side of AKC, since most Border Collies are performance dogs, first. It certainly is an advantage to have acquaintances in AKC offices when you need assistance with anything. I was elected to the AKC Herding-Earthdog-Coursing Committee at the June delegates’ meeting so I hope to be the BC connection to the performance events section of the AKC.

I have tried to share information from the delegates’ meetings through the website and Borderlines and am always available by email or phone if you need to contact me.
