DUES INCREASE: Due to increasing club operation
costs, and the fact that we haven't modified our dues in a
decade, the board has voted to increase dues effective July
15, 2008. Individual, Household and Foreign dues will increase by $10;
with individual membership going to $50, Household to $60, Junior memberships staying the same at $15,
Foreign Individual going to $75 and Foreign Household going to
$85.
We'd like to
note that we compared these values to other parent clubs and
determined that they are in line with the "going rate" for
membership in many other clubs. This will also help offset the
current cost of publishing our club Newsletter, which has
become increasingly expensive.
People applying
for membership between now and July 14, 2008 will still pay
the old rate for 2008. For renewing members, the new rates
will go into affect for the 2009 membership year renewal
period.
