The BCSA Juniors Program, which is open to all
Border Collie junior handlers, was organized last year
and we are committed to supporting, educating and encouraging junior handlers;
because we feel they are the future of the dog fancy. Since this is a new Program , we have a long way to go and would love to have
your input on what we can do to better this program and/or what you would like
to see included in this program. This page will keep you up-to-date on
the program and we would also like to include a profile and photo for each of
our Junior Handlers. Please drop us a note if you would like to be included.
We spotlight our Junior stars at the National
Specialty with a special recognition during our "Social" and also include
their photo and profile in the Specialty catalog. We
would like all Border Collie Junior Handlers to contact us so that we can
recognize you too. We would like to hear all about you and introduce you
to the rest of the world. We celebrate your love for the breed and would like
to encourage you to remain active well into your adulthood.
If you are a junior
member or your family is a BCSA member, please contact
Caitlin
with any questions, your
ideas for the program and to send your photo and profile. If you would like to become a member, visit our
Membership page. We look forward to
hearing from you!

JUNIORS IN BORDERLINES: There is an upcoming juniors issue of
Borderlines. Juniors can start submitting profiles about
themselves to the editor as soon as they want. The profiles can
include anything about themselves, their dogs, what they compete
in, any challenges they've faced showing, any sacrifices they make
to work with dogs, mentors, goals in dog sports, etc. We
also want photos of them and their dogs, and any artwork,
inspirational sayings, etc. Please submit them to:
editor@bordercolliesociety.com (Microsoft word is the
preferred format).
We would also like
for any junior to write column for each issue of Borderlines. It
can be about training, show experiences etc. Please contact
Caitlin
if you're interested. |
