It’s back!!! After 10 years, the Border Recorder is back! This is an excellent opportunity to obtain 10 years (1999-2009) of breed history and see some of the dogs and Kennels that have made history and influence the present and future…all in one spectacular publication. This will be an excellent reference book for years to come!

The Border Recorder 1999 - 2009 -- Celebrating 10 Years of Excellence.  This publication will include:

• A full list of all title winners and Dual, Triple and Quad CHs from 1999-2009

• History of BCSA and the Breed

• Breed Standard

• Noteworthy dogs and bitches, ROMs

• Versatile Awards/CHX

• And more…

GENERAL AD: Deadline CLOSED

There will be a General Ad section available to any Border Collie owner, including international owners, and anyone else who would like to place a General Ad relevant to Border Collies/Border Collie owners, in general, with special pricing for BCSA members.

• Anyone placing one color ad AND one black and white Pedigree Page OR one color Ad and any other Ad is entitled to one FREE copy of the Border Recorder mailed or picked up at one of the above designated locations.

• Ads will be placed in the order they’re received.  Your order will not be processed until payment is received.

• Ad Page Size is 8 ½” x 11”

• Ad Photos must be 300dpi. 

• You may set your own ad and e-mail with photos (must be 300 dpi) and electronic copies of all graphics to Angel Duffy or Tina Turley-Kocab.

• If you need someone to design your ad(s), you can contact Angel Duffy, Tina Turley-Kocab or Joey, J & J Graphix, at .   There may be an additional cost associated with design services provided by Joey at J & J Graphix.

PEDIGREE PAGE (BCSA Members Only): Deadline is Monday, April 19, 2010 at 11:00PM EST

There will be a section for brags available to BCSA Members only called “Pedigree Pages” for individual dogs, owned by BCSA Members, who received a title in the last 10 years. The Pedigree pages will be black and white only with the top half of the page featuring the dog’s photo with a three generation pedigree, BCSA member owner’s information and the dog’s clearances and special accomplishments listed below. BCSA members may buy Pedigree pages for $30.00 each.

• Individual Dog’s Pedigree Pages are available to BCSA Members only.

• Pedigree Page photos must be 300dpi and e-mailed to Cindy Geiss.

• Your submission must include a photo (300dpi) of the individual dog, the BCSA Member owner’s name, kennel name, dog’s registered and call names, clearances, special accomplishments and three generation pedigree.  Two Pedigree forms are available to you (see forms below).

• Pedigree Page will follow format of Pedigree Page Form, so please ensure you provide complete and accurate information and a photo of the dog using 300 dpi.

OTHER INFO: Anyone placing one color General Ad and one black and white Pedigree Page OR one color General Ad and any other General Ad will receive ONE FREE copy of the Border Recorder. Any Other Advertiser may pre-order the book for $20.00 plus $7.00 US shipping and handling (limit is ONE at this price). Books sold/pre-ordered outright are $35.00 plus $7.00 each US shipping and handling. Please contact Cindy Geiss for the international shipping and handling rate. The Border Recorder may be picked up or purchased at the National Specialty in October or at various other show locations throughout the year. These show locations will be posted on this website at a later date.

Due to the cost of the production of the Border Recorder, there will be very few extra copies available. A limited number of Border Recorder’s will be available for purchase at the National Specialty and they are guaranteed to sell out quickly! To ensure that you get one, we highly recommend you pre-order.

In the future, we hope the Border Recorder will be an annual publication including a full year’s, January through December, list of title earners and more…with General Ads and Pedigree Pages.
