It’s that time again…time for the annual edition of the Border Recorder!! The 2010 publication (size: 8 ½” x 11”) statistics will be for the time period covering from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. Pedigree Pages are available to advertise your title winners for 2010 regardless of venue. General ads are not limited to a specific timeframe. General ads can be a Memorial page, a brag page for that special win, a brag page featuring a special companion dog/dogs (BCs only please) in your life, a kennel page and more. There will be a General Ad section available to any Border Collie owner, including international owners, and anyone else who would like to place a General Ad relevant to Border Collies/Border Collie owners, in general, with special pricing for BCSA members.

• Anyone placing one color ad AND one Pedigree Page OR one color Ad and any other Ad is entitled to one FREE copy of the Border Recorder mailed or you may opt to pick it up at a Border Recorder Committee designated location.

• Ads will be placed in the book according to the decision of the committee, (a color spread will be taken into account.)

• Your order will not be processed until payment is received.

• Ad Page Size is 8 ½” x 11” (a Portrait style ad)

• Ad Photos must be 300dpi. (The Border Recorder Committee retains the right to refuse to accept any photo(s) that do not meet the quality in resolution, etc., needed to maintain the quality of the publication.)

• You may set your own ad and e-mail with photos (must be 300 dpi) and electronic copies of all graphics to borderrecorder@yahoo.com.

• If you need someone to design your ad(s), you can contact Angel Duffy , there maybe a fee.

PEDIGREE PAGE: EXTENDED Deadline October 31, 2011 -- Take advantage of the extended deadline to add your 2011 accomplishments.

There will be a section for brags called “Pedigree Pages” for individual dogs who received a title between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010 with special pricing for BCSA Members. The Pedigree pages will be black and white photos (one per page) with black and white print. The top half of the page will feature the dog’s photo with a three generation pedigree, Owner’s and Breeder’s information and the dog’s health clearances and special accomplishments listed below. BCSA members may purchase Pedigree pages for $30.00 each. Non-BCSA Members may purchase Pedigree Pages for $40.00 each.

• Pedigree Page photos must be 300dpi and e-mailed to borderrecorder@yahoo.com.

• Your submission must include a black and white photo (300dpi) of the individual dog, the owner’s name, kennel name, dog’s registered and call names, Breeder’s name, health clearances, special accomplishments and three generation pedigree. Two Pedigree forms are available to you (see forms below).

• Pedigree Page will follow format of Pedigree Page Form, so please ensure you provide complete and accurate information and a black and white photo of the dog using 300 dpi.

OTHER INFO:

• Anyone placing one color General Ad and one Pedigree Page OR one color General Ad and any other General Ad will receive ONE FREE copy (including shipping and handling) of the Border Recorder and may pre-order an additional copy for just $25.00 plus $12.00 US shipping and handling, $20.00 International shipping and handling (limit of one at this discounted price).

• Any Other Advertiser may pre-order the book for $25.00 plus $12.00 US shipping and handling or $20.00 International shipping and handling (limit is ONE at this price).

• Pre-order of Border Recorder only. Books sold/pre-ordered outright will be sold for a discounted price of $35.00 each plus $12.00 each US shipping and handling. The International shipping and handling rate is $20.00.

• The Border Recorder will be available for purchase at the National Specialty in September or at various other show locations throughout the year for $40.00 each. These show locations will be posted on this website at a later date. Due to the cost of the production of the Border Recorder, there will be very few extra copies available, so we recommend pre-ordering…so take advantage of the pre-order discount!
