	BOARD MEETING: The next BCSA Board Meeting will be Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Please send any items you wish the Board to discuss a week prior to the meeting.
	BORDER RECORDER: Deadline extended giving you time to get those Specialty accomplishments included. We are also offering a reprint of the 1998 Border Recorder with a discount when ordered with the 2010 Border Recorder. Price details on order form.
	HEALTH: The Health Committee has added information on three research studies that are seeking Border Collies that are affected with Melanoma, Border Collie Collapse and Border Collies with light/shadow chasing behaviors.
	BORDERLINES: New lower advertising rates.
	HERDING ENTHUSIASTS: ALL of the changes recently made by the AKC to the herding program are now in effect.

	2012 NATIONAL SPECIALTY - Linda Ramas, Chair - It's time to raise those hands and start volunteering. We have an easy on-line form for you to complete.
	2013 NATIONAL SPECIALTY - Chair(s) needed - The Specialty will be held at Purina Farms. Please contact the BCSA Board if you are interested in Chairing or Co-Chairing this event. Judge's nominations now open.

PURINA PRO CLUB: The Purina Parent Club Partnership Program is an alliance between Purina and National Parent Breed Clubs to help promote canine health and well-being. TAKE THE LEAD: With your help, TTL can make a difference in people’s lives. TTL provides direct services, support and care for people in the sport of purebred dogs who suffer the devastation of life-threatening or terminal illness. They welcome your support.
