I became involved in Border Collies in 1995, when I got my first girl from a farm. I now have six border collies, four of which are home bred. Since then, I have also become very active in both the dog sports and Border Collies. I actively participate in agility, herding, obedience, rally and conformation, though agility is my number-one love.
I breed occasionally while keeping the breed’s origins in mind. Health is of up most importance to me, and I want to continue to see our breed flourish for years to come. I became more active in the club in 2012 when I was chief ring captain for agility at the specialty that year. In 2013 and 2014 I was co-chair for the agility, and the chair for 2015 and 2016. I love putting on the best event that I can and making sure that our specialty is a memorable event for all that attend. I hope to continue to make the event even more enjoyable in the future.
