POINT VALUES The single highest point value earned in each venue will be used. Dogs may compete and receive points toward the Janet Larson Award in each of the venues offered at the 2008 National Specialty.  Points must be earned in AT LEAST THREE VENUES, ONE OF WHICH MUST BE HERDING (HT level or above). "Q" means qualifying score. You MUST be pre-registered to compete. Participants must submit a form with their acquired points at the end of each day.

Janet E. Larson Versatility Award winner will receive a digital photo album donated by Laura Tomaszewski . In the event of a tie, herding scores will be used to calculate the winner. Additional information will be available at the Specialty.

  • 3 pts - Q Novice A or B

  • 4 pts - Q Open A or B or Win Nov A or B

  • 5 pts - Q Exc. A or B or Win Open A or B\

  • 6 pts Win Exc A or B

AGILITY PREFERRED same as regular Agility but minus one point.
BONUS POINTS: 1 point for Double Q any combo of standard & jumpers; OR 2 points for Double Q in Excellent B standard and jumpers (not necessarily the same day as the dog's best result).

 CONFORMATION 

  • 1 pt - Place class (1-3 competing) or finished Champion competing in BOB

  • 2 pts - Place 2-4 in class (4 or more competing)

  • 3 pts - Win class (4 or more competing) or place 2-4 (8 or more competing)

  • 4 pts - Win Class (8 or more competing

  • 5 pts - Reserve Winners

  • 6 pts - Winners

  • 7 pts - Award of Merit or BOS

  • 8 pts - Best of Breed

  • 2 pts - Q PT

  • 3 pts - Q Started A or B

  • 4 pts - Q Int A or B or Win Started A or B

  • 5 pts - Q Adv A or B or Win Int A or B

  • 8 pts HIT

BONUS POINTS: One additional point awarded if dog qualified in A field (sheep or ducks) and B field in same day (not necessarily at the same level); and/or one additional point if dog qualifies on ducks and sheep (A or B field) on the same day.  (Not necessarily the same day as dog's best result)

  • 8 pts - High in Trial and/or High Combined
