2007 BORDER COLLIE NATIONAL SPECIALTY
October 15-21, 2007-Purina Farms-Gray Summit, Missouri
JUDGE CHRISTOPHER T. NEALE

Return to Judge Central

I’ve been involved with purebred dogs since 1967. I showed my first dog, Cardigan Welsh Corgi, in June 1968. Through the years, I’ve been involved with Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgis Siberian Huskies, Salukis, Dachshunds and Borzoi.

In 1983, I met my wife Patti, and we married in 1985. Together, we have bred more than 75 Borzoi Champions. Highlights include Best of Breed at the Borzoi Club of America National Specialty, Best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club in 2001 and our two homebred Best in Show winners.

In the field, we have three AKC Dual Champions, and at least sixteen ASFA Field Champions, including four Best in Field hounds.

I started my judging career in 1993. I’ve judged specialties in Borzoi, Siberian Huskies, Dalmatians and Dachshunds. In 1997, I was invited to judge a Siberian Specialty in Argentina. Other exciting assignments include the supported entry the days after the Pharaoh Hound Club of America and the American Black and Tan Coonhound National Specialties.

I was approved to judge the Hound Group in 2001 and the Herding Group in 2004. I look forward to judging for the Border Collie Society of America.
