2007 BORDER COLLIE NATIONAL SPECIALTY
October 15-21, 2007-Purina Farms-Gray Summit, Missouri
JUDGE TERRY ELGER |
Return
to Judge Central |
First
, let me me say how thrilled I am to be judging the National Specialty for my
chosen breed. My wife Denise and I have owned Border Collies for the past 12
years. I have been involved in dog training for the past 20 years and competing
in agility since 1991. I started in agility working with 2 Australian Shepherds,
"Lindy" and" Kodi". After my wife got our first Border Collie "Sprint", I fell
in love with that "drive to work attitude" and got my first BC "Divot". She is
now 10 years old and still ran competitively at this years AKC Nationals. I am
now training and showing my tree year old baby girl "Jazz" . I have judged AKC
agility for about five years and had the honor to judge at the AKC Nationals in
Tampa in 2006. I look forward to a great time with my fellow BC lovers.
