SWEEPS JUDGE LIBBYE MILLER
Return to Judge Central

It's hard to believe it's been thirty years since I put an obedience title on my first Belgian Tervuren. In the ensuing years, I've been fortunate enough to finish a UD and to handle my first conformation champion to herding group win. Along the way I've also done some agility, a bit of tracking, and found my passion with herding.

In real life I'm a practicing veterinarian with a special interest in canine sports medicine and frequently lecture on the selection and care of performance dogs. I'm a member of the American Belgian Tervuren Club Health Committee, a breed mentor, and keeper of the ABTC Archives. In 2007, I'll be judging both the Belgian Tervuren and Belgian Sheepdog Nationals sweeps classes.

Thanks to a very patient husband, we live in Elizabethtown, Kentucky with 2 Belgian Tervuren, a Sheltie, and a flock of 80-100 sheep.   Smoky Ridge Farm is home base for the Central Kentucky Herding Group Club and hosts AKC and AHBA trials, thus indulging my fascination with all herding breeds.

I am honored and excited to be judging at the BCSA Nationals!
