I've had Border Collies since 1980, showing them primarily in
obedience (have gotten all titles) but have also got titles in tracking, agility
and conformation. I was one of the early presidents of the Border Collie Society
of America (presided over admittance to the AKC including the Alliance 'war').
I've been an obedience judge since about 2001 and was a delegate for BCSA to the
AKC from 2001 until September 2005. I am also a teacher, teaching writing,
philosophy and history of American ideas.
